Job Description
Financial Accountant role with 11-month contract, working 3 days in Dublin, requiring a top academic performer with experience in multinational accounting.
We are seeking a driven, high-energy, detail-oriented individual to join our International Controllership team as a Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will have experience in the accounting function of a multinational organisation and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple EMEA entities from a US GAAP reporting and local compliance point of view.
- Support processes for the preparation of Corporation tax and VAT returns.
- Manage processes for the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of Statutory Audits.
- Review the work of outsourced partners.
- Support the Finance team in design, testing, and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes.
- Initiate, lead, and manage process improvement projects to build for scale.
Requirements
- 4 years post-qualification experience.
- Audit experience.
- Relevant industry experience with large, fast-growing, multinational companies preferred.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP desirable.
- Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement.
Education
- Recognized Accounting qualification.
