Job Description

My client is a large Irish charity with operations across Ireland.


They are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team, based in South Dublin, close to the city-centre.


Reporting directly to the Head of Finance & IT, you will work across the finance function, supporting the wider team.

This is a hybrid role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
Preparation of annual statutory accounts Supporting with year-end audits and close out Preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reporting Monthly/Quarterly financial controls & reconciliations (banks accounts, debtors, creditors etc)

Assisting in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and the annual budget Investment administration and fund accounting Supporting with month end investment valuations Providing cover for accounts payable Preparing reports for committees and other departments Supporting with the completion of internal audit reports Assisting with audit compliance and internal control responsibilities Supporting systems and upgrade projects Undertaking special work assignments and research Ad-hoc duties to support the Head of Finance and the wider entire Finance team Requirements:

Qualified Accountant, preferably with a third-level business related qualification 2+ years PQ experience Interest in charity sector and understanding of Charities SORP desirable ERP experience and Strong IT skills, MS Suite Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Andrew Adamson at the enclosed address.
