Job Description
Financial Accountant required for a rapidly expanding global organisation in the Dublin area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience and strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and closing monthly management accounts and reporting packs within a 5-day close window
- Processing monthly journals and reviewing supporting schedules for key General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts
- Conducting overhead variance analysis against budget and prior year figures
- Reviewing and presenting Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Filing and reconciling tax returns for PAYE, VAT, and WHT
- Managing weekly and monthly payroll, including KPI reporting
- Preparing audit files and liaising with auditors
- Collaborating with operations to manage budgetary controls
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc project work as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Qualified Accountant, ideally trained in a Big 4/top 10 practice with relevant post qualification experience in industry
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
