Job Description
Play a pivotal role in financial operations, providing support to local management, ensuring cost control and accurate accounting practices, and analyzing financial data to inform management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creation of annual budget and ensure effective cost control
- Manage debt effectively with local management and central credit control
- Analyze financial data, focusing on key performance indicators related to billing and cash flow
- Generate and analyze commercial data to identify trends
- Maintain local accounting records, process transactions and journals accurately
- Monitor internal control systems to ensure compliance with Group accounting policies
- Assist in local tax and regulatory reporting, including VAT, and liaise with external auditors
- Aid in preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
- Support local team in financial management activities
- Assist in bill production, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements
- Analyze credit notes and provide root cause analysis
- Ensure accurate posting of all accounting transactions
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Big 4 Trained Accountant
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, particularly in dashboard creation
- Experience in finance within an international organisation is desirable
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and local accounting regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English
