As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Supply Chain finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant seeking to broaden their experience in a fast-paced commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and closing monthly management accounts and reporting packs within a 5-day close window.
- Processing monthly journals and reviewing supporting schedules for key General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts.
- Conducting overhead variance analysis against budget and prior year figures.
- Reviewing and presenting Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Filing and reconciling tax returns for PAYE, VAT, and WHT.
- Managing weekly and monthly payroll, including KPI reporting.
- Preparing audit files and liaising with auditors.
- Collaborating with operations to manage budgetary controls.
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc project work as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Qualified Accountant, ideally trained in a Big 4 /top 10 practice with relevant post qualification experience in industry.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
