Job Description

My client, a leading energy supply and services provider, based in South Dublin is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant who will play an integral part in the finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, with responsibility for providing financial and analytical support to the business. This is a varied role that offers a great breadth of experience and responsibility, ideal for someone with a couple of years experience with a view to developing and progressing their career within a growing company with high potential. Hybrid work model and company benefits included. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and delivery of management accounts for parent company/subsidiaries. Deliver a detailed analytical review of P&L comparing actuals to budget & prior year. Ensure all assigned balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly. Assist with managing the AR team & management of aged debtors reporting. Maintain fixed asset register and update monthly depreciation/amortisation calculations. Responsible for the maintenance of the fixed Assets master data. Assist with financial modelling and annual budgetary & reforecasting process. Responsible for preparing, controlling, and issuing customer rebates. Prepare, record, and reconcile intra group transactions. Assist in revenue assurance process, reduce leakage and identify areas to improve Involvement in treasury and banking reporting processes Prepare & File VAT returns & CSO reporting. Prepare audit pack for year-end external audit and liaison with auditors Etc. Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Ideally 2+ years experience preferably involving producing management accounts Advanced Excel essential Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to extrapolate, combine and analyse data from various sources If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Andrew Adamson at the enclosed address.
