Job Description

Salary €60,000 - €65,000 Pensions, Life cover Dublin 2 office Property Accountant role. The Company One of Ireland's leading property companies. The role Key Responsibilities Ownership of Monthly Management Accounts: Lead the completion of detailed management accounts and reporting packs, providing valuable insights for senior leadership. Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare both individual and consolidated entity accounts, including comprehensive reporting on P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and key KPIs. Strategic Financial Support: Collaborate closely with the Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and property teams, offering ongoing financial advice and support. Invoice Management & Payment Processes: Oversee invoice review, coding, and the execution of timely payment runs. General Ledger Maintenance: Manage the general ledger, including posting accruals and performing balance sheet reconciliations. Tenant Billing: Lead the preparation and distribution of tenant billings, ensuring accurate recording of cash receipts and tenant ledger reconciliations. Annual Budgeting & Long-Term Projections: Play a key role in preparing annual budgets and creating detailed 5-year financial projections, driving the companys financial strategy. Cashflow Management & Timely Reporting: Ensure effective cashflow management and timely financial reporting, which are essential for strategic decision-making in property development. Compliance & Statutory Obligations: Assist in fulfilling all statutory obligations, including tax compliance, audit requirements, financial reporting. Service Charge Management: Prepare year-end service charge working papers and audit files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory guidelines. Estate Service Charge Budgets: Partner with the Head of Estates to set and manage annual Estate Service Charge budgets, monitor actual vs. budget performance, and ensure estates remain properly funded. Client Account Reconciliations: Prepare monthly reconciliations of client accounts. The Person Must be Qualified as an accountant with ACA, ACCA or CPA Open to working in office in the city centre Open to accountants who have qualified in 2024.
