Job Description
Financial Accountant required for 3-month contract to support finance team through year-end period.
Leading cosmetics brand seeks experienced accountant with strong background in management accounts and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of statutory accounts.
- Perform variance analysis on financial data to track performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and reconciliations.
- Assist with audit process, ensuring all necessary documentation is ready for external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for senior management as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in preparing management accounts and completing year-end financials.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and audit processes.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage tight deadlines in dynamic environment.
