Our client are a leading cosmetics brand, who are seeking an immediately available Financial Accountant to join them on a temporary 3 month contract. This role is to support the finance team through the busy year-end period. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant with a strong background in management accounts and financial reporting who can hit the ground running and ensure the smooth completion of year-end tasks. With offices based in Ashbourne, they are operating with a flexible hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and finalize monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Support the year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and the preparation of statutory accounts. Perform variance analysis on financial data to track performance against budgets and forecasts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and reconciliations. Assist with the audit process, ensuring all necessary documentation is ready for external auditors. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for senior management as required. Minimum Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1+ years of relevant experience. Experience in preparing management accounts and completing year-end financials. Strong understanding of financial reporting and audit processes.
