Financial Accountant €65,000 Drogheda (Hybrid) - 6 Month Contract About Your Employer One of the leading players in the construction industry with a huge strive towards sustainability with two plants in Ireland, are seeking a finance assistant team member based in their Dublin office. If you have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, along with a strong proficiency in the use of Excel alongside previous experience in a similar role, this is the role for you! About Your New job As a financial accountant you will be responsible for the below activities: Prepare monthly management accounts Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. Preparation and review of quarterly financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP Maintain and enhance the internal control framework to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act requirements. Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation and submission of tax returns. Support the business areas with any ad-hoc reporting or analysis projects that are always on the go. What You Need: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) 3-4 years PQE SOX Compliance experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills What's On Offer Competitive salary of €65,000 22 days AL pro Rata Flexible working arrangements, including 2 days of remote work after the initial office-based period.
