Job Description
Financial Accountant required with 2 - 3 years post qualification in industry. Based in Oranmore, Co. Galway Reporting to Financial Controller. Responsibilities: Manage the team of staff within the accounting function Reconciliation of all bank accounts Preparation of monthly management accounts for Group companies and preparation of annual accounts to trial balance level Monitor, control and report on cash function for each division. Maintain and improve the internal controls within the accounting function Preparation and submission of VAT returns and WEEE returns Preparation for year-end statutory audits i.e., Journals, Accruals, Asset Ledger, Reconciliations, etc. Payment approval of all staff business expenses submitted Administration of company motor fleet insurance, accident reports, claims, etc. Various other duties (ad-hoc projects) Requirements: ACCA/CIMA qualification essential 2-3 years experience required (experience in a similar industry an advantage) Demonstrated experience in people management essential Strong knowledge of Windows, Excel and other related software Excellent communication skills, initiative and customer focus Ability to work as part of a team as well as ability to work on own initiative For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contactNoeleen Stewart.
