Financial Accountant - Shannon - Permanent CREGG is looking for an experienced ambitious Accountant to join our growing team. Reporting to the Company GM & CFO, the ideal candidate will have experience working within industry, preferably within a manufacturing / manufacturing services environment. The role is varied and challenging, supporting various financial functions, such as Payables, Receivables, Costing, Accounting Controls, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and General Ledger admin. The role is primarily an on-premises role, with certain flexibility provided where feasible As Financial this role will: Be responsible for the Accounts Payable, Receivables and Billings functions Assist the CFO with the month end financial period close, reconciliations and preparation of the Management reporting pack Preparation of other regular and ad hoc financial reporting and metrics Assist in Product & BOM costing process for new projects Ensure appropriate controls in place over accounting and financial processes Manage VAT and related tax returns Participate in ongoing business lean improvement and systems implementation projects, including ERP implementation Essential and Desirable Skills: Level 8 degree or higher. Accounting qualification 5+ years of experience in an accounting function preferably within a manufacturing or related industry. Good communication skills essential.
