Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent role and is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a busy finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will assist in the timely completion of accurate management and accounting information, both locally and to our parent company. Key Responsibilities Assist with the month-end close process including posting month-end journals, accruals & prepayments. Complete the monthly P&L review and balance sheet reconciliations. Management of the fixed asset register. Assist in the completion of the monthly reporting packs and cashflow forecasting. Assist in the completion of the yearly budgets and other one-off tasks or submissions. Support the completion of the annual external audit and related regulatory returns. Undertake various ad hoc reporting or accounting assignments as required. Contribute to the continuous improvement and efficiencies of the Finance team. Qualifications & Experience Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 1-2 years post qualified experience. Attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information. Excellent Excel Skills. Experience in a high volume, pressurised environment. Key Skills & Attributes Systems: Proficiency in system usage, Sage 50 or equivalent an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Team player. Self-motivated. Trustworthy & efficient.
