As a Financial Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with a small team of 5-6 people. In this role, you will collaborate across all levels of the organization. While the position is initially a 6-month contract, there is strong potential for it to become permanent as the business continues to grow. Role Overview The Financial Accountant will play a key role in delivering management reports on financial and business performance. This includes working closely with our operations and commercial teams to provide regular tracking of key business metrics, particularly monitoring performance of different procucts. Additionally, the role involves administering payments system for suppliers, ensuring accurate accounting and invoicing for #. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the Financial Controller to drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems, supporting various ongoing and future projects. Furthermore, they will provide crucial decision-making and ad-hoc support to the CFO and senior management. Your Profile The ideal candidate will hold an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with some industry experience being advantageous. Strong IT skills, particularly advanced Excel, are essential, along with solid analytical abilities and a keen interest in providing both financial analysis and insightful commentary to stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work are crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Management Accounts, and Payroll. The role requires excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks under pressure. A high level of drive, enthusiasm, and commitment, paired with strong communication and interpersonal skills, will ensure success in this role.
