Financial Accountant - Kerry Permanent - Fulltime About the role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, the accountant will be directly responsible for the day-to-day finance activities of a growing, fast-paced medium-sized business. The ideal professional will be a strong accountant with 2-3 years experience working in the industry, who is ambitious and hard-working and wants to progress their career. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day management accounts function. Full responsibility across the AR, AP, Stock and Payroll function Submission of VIES INTRASTAT VAT returns. Liaise with auditors and outside agencies. Any ad-hoc duties Knowledge, Skills and Experience ACCA, ACA or CIMA-qualified professional with at least 1 year post qualified experience. A proactive and professional attitude possessing strong attention to detail and the ability to liaise with staff members at all levels Excellent PC Skills and experience using accounts software / Excel and MS Office Knowledge of the Herbst software package is an advantage but not a necessity Be highly organised including the ability to prioritise several tasks and to work to deadlines. Have the ability to work on my initiative and as part of a busy team. Be a self-driven, motivated and highly organised individual who can prioritise several tasks.
