Financial Accountant (Waterford) - 1-Year Fixed Term Contract Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant for an initial one-year fixed-term contract to support their growing business, with plans to expand by 30% in the coming months. This role works closely with the finance team and reports directly to the Financial Controller, occasionally stepping in as their deputy. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register and manage depreciation. Oversee stock accounting and sales accounting processes. Lead the year-end process and handle auditor queries. Review the nominal ledger and assist with credit control. Manage performance calculations. Support the Financial Controller with queries and ad-hoc tasks. Work with clinics to improve finance processes. Lead projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Accountant. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office. Knowledge of data analytics and Power BI is a plus. Strong attention to detail with knowledge of tax laws. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. Flexible, adaptable, and able to handle confidential information professionally.
