Armont Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly expanding globally recognised PLC based in Dublin. They have a dynamic, fast paced working culture and a finance team that has significantly increased in size in recent years due to ambitious business growth plans and continued success. They are now hiring an ambitious Financial Accountant to join their expanding team. The Financial Accountant will have primary responsibility for reporting and compliance for both established and new entities within their expanding region. This role has been ear marked to progress quickly for the ambitious new hire. This role will suit a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) who has trained in a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm with circa 0 2 years PQE or an industry trained accountant coming from a large multinational environment. The Role Completion of balance sheet reconciliation and commentary on all accounts within area of responsibility to support month end and quarterly reporting. Management of the preparation of the financial statements for relevant entities. Provision of supplementary information to support quarterly and annual reporting. Supporting the financial accounting team with the external audit. Responsible for reporting and VAT compliance for all relevant countries. Assistance with inventory related tasks & processes. Support any project related activity & process improvements in these areas. The Candidate A qualified accountant (0-2 years PQE) with experience gained from a Big 4 / Top 10 firm or similar multinational function. Experience of working in a fast paced, multinational environment. Experience in US GAAP and SOX advantageous. Previous experience of SAP is highly advantageous. Proficient in the use of MS Outlook and Excel.
