My client is a growing renewable energy organisaiton who are at an exciting stage of their growth and development. Due to progression within the portfolio, projects are now entering the pre-construction and construction phases, and with that they are looking to add a Financial Accountant to their finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will have responsibility for all aspects of project financial reporting in addition to managing the vendor and AP process and supporting the Finance Manager in all aspects of Financial Control and Governance. Responsibilities: Preparation of month end journals, accruals & prepayments Reviewing and reporting on monthly management accounts Project reporting and co-ordination of project reports for Steering Group review Vendor and accounts payable management Accounts receivable management Reviewing and reporting on monthly management accounts Review of VAT and other expenditure tax returns Assisting in the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements Assisting in the preparation of monthly Board reports Point of contact for Internal audits General business/ financial support to the Executive Management team Requirements: Recently Qualified Accountant/Part Qualified Accountant with relevant industry experience Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team Professionalism and Attention to Detail: Diligence and care in all tasks Communication: Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills Initiative: Ability to work on own initiative solving issues as they arise For more information about this opportunity, please email your CV to Skills: Financial Reporting Management Accounting Project Management
