Financial Accountant - Retail My client is a well-recognised Irish retail business with over 100 stores nationwide. They are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team in West Dublin. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a well-established company who have a real vision and are currently in a new and exciting growth phase. They are processing up to 20k invoices monthly so this person will come from a similar fast paced, busy environment. Salary & Package: €70k may be negotiable but must reflect experience 10% Bonus Discounted Health Insurance 8% Pension Contribution Life Assurance Maternity/Paternity Pay Free Parking on site Responsibilities for the job of Financial Accountant: Commercial Reviewing costs and implementing processes where savings can be made Review margins and highlight where improvements can be made Preparation and review of weekly revenue - review of actual v forecast Regular review meetings with Commercial Team Financial Reporting Monthly Management Accounts & Board Reporting Packs Statutory Annual Accounts Audits Annual Budgets & Monthly Outlooks Month End Close Prepare the Month end lead schedule and agree Financial Controller Debtor Management Creditor Management Reconcile all balance sheet control accounts including accruals and prepayments Ensure the monthly Management Accounts show a fair reflection of trade both current and future Invoice Financing Management of Invoice Financing Facility Invoice Financing Returns & Audits Cash Flow Monitoring and reporting Statutory Returns PAYE, VAT, Intrastat, VIES, WEEE, CSO & Repak Business Support Rebate and Levy Monitoring & Reporting Inventory Monitoring & Reporting Should you be interested in this job opportunity please apply or contact Ambyr .
