Financial Accountant
Our client, an Irish-based construction company, seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing monthly accounts and reporting packs.
- Prepare year-end accounts and manage the year-end audit and statutory accounts submissions.
- Monitor actual performance, profitability, and perform variance analysis.
- Evaluate new business proposals and tenders, and prepare commercial pricing models.
- Continuously review and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure financial and non-financial checks and balances.
Key Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple departments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of monthly accounts and reporting packs.

- Identify areas of budget concern and potential impact on financial performance.
- Prepare VAT submissions.
- Evaluate new business proposals and tenders.
- Implement internal controls and procedures to ensure financial and non-financial checks and balances.
Requirements:
- Hands-on and can-do approach.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple departments.
