Job Description

Join an amazing team of experts at a Shannon-based company driving innovation in Medical Devices, Biomaterials, and Pharmaceuticals. Maintaining accounts, preparing invoices, and supporting the finance close process.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain Accounts Payable and Receivable systems on ERP (INSIGHT)
- Assist in preparing customer invoices and activity logs
- Ensure proper approvals for invoices and expenses
- Set up new customer and supplier accounts
- Support monthly finance close process and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Management of employee and consultant expenses
- Assist in preparation of cashflow projections and VAT liabilities
- Liaise with external Auditors, Bank, Payroll, and Government authorities
- HR support covering monthly Payroll and completion of DTIF and government grants
- Manage local inventory and calculate standard costing of products
- Review and update BOMs and monitor variances to standard cost

Requirements:
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- 2-3 years PQE in a similar position in a multi-national environment
- Good working knowledge of ERP accounting packages and process improvement projects
- Strong MS Office Skills with a focus on Excel
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to function in a rapidly changing environment and balance multiple priorities
