Top Wealth Management Company in Dublin seeks a Financial Advisor with over 3 years experience, ideally Public sector pension experience - QFA.
Salary: €55,000 to €60,000
Responsibilities:
- Public Sector Pension experience
- Conduct consultations and gather information from individuals to understand their financial goals and objectives
- Help individuals plan and achieve their financial goals
- Ensure individuals have necessary protection for themselves and dependents
- Aid in understanding of existing financial investments and align them with future goals
- Help individuals plan for retirement and prepare for desired lifestyle
- Undertake full review of client's financial needs and goals
- Arrange follow-up meeting to deliver recommended solutions
Skills and Experience:
- Understand and explain merits and detractions of protection and investment types
- Good knowledge of personal taxation, including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
- Understand and assess suitability of available pension income options
- Explain benefits, merits and detractions of a self-invested personal pension
- Understand current rules applying to approved and unapproved company share schemes
- Understand implications of current pension legislation and calculate allowable pension contributions
