Job Description
A newly created position reporting to the CFO, this role will form part of the senior management team in this expanding construction organisation. Role will have oversight of the finance department including the management of staff, allocation of work and the development of systems across the group.Role Responsibilities:Oversight of the annual budget, strategic plans, and the maintenance of rolling forecasting across group companiesForecasting of the weekly, monthly, and annual cash flow position of the GroupManaging all banking relationships and assist with sourcing fundingProduction and delivery to the Board of the monthly/quarterly board packPreparation of the annual statutory audit, management of the overall process and dealing with the external auditorsReview of tax accounting and ensure that complete, accurate and timely returns are filed with the Tax AuthoritiesCollaborate with the commercial team on cost analysis and reviewing cost reportsEnsuring that forecast targets (cash flow and margin) are reported to the Senior Management TeamOverall management of payments to supply chain in co-operation with Commercial Director and Procurement departmentManaging all capital expenditure requests of fixed asset purchases and maintenance of fixed asset registerResponsibility for the overall Human Resource function of the business with oversight of company payroll functionDevelopment and maintenance of internal controls of the businessDevelopment and maintenance of IT systems to enhance the performance and connectivity of the businessCandidate Requirements:Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years post qualification experience in industryExperience within the property/construction sector preferablePrevious experience managing staff with the ability to motivate and delegate work accordinglyHighly proficient IT skillsAbility to work on own initiative and be proactive and self-startingFluent English is essential along with excellent communication skillsA very attractive remuneration package is on offer for the successful candidate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
