Brilliant opportunity for a high calibre finance professional to join an ambitious Irish PLC as a Financial Controller. Responsibilities: Lead the completion of month-end management accounts including analysis Consolidation of all entities in the group Prepare interim, preliminary and year end results (annual report) for the business, including drafting all relevant accompanying notes Technical competency to ensure best practice in accounting standards. This role will play a critical part in the half-year and year-end audit process, managing the team in delivering all required elements of the external audit. Ensuring all statutory accounts are completed on time and drive completion within your direct team. Manage the Group Financial Reporting team Responsible for all share-based payments journals and reconciliations. Producing accurate and timely performance information for the business on an ongoing basis. Key Requirements Qualified accountant with minimum 6 years PQE in industry with a Big 4 training background Experienced in working in a financial reporting team within a PLC or large organisation. Strong commitment to learning and development Strong technical knowledge of IFRS Can do attitude with a strong attention to detail Strong excel and systems knowledge with excellent problem solving and analytical skills Adaptable and energetic with strong interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple, often conflicting, deadlines.
