Job Title: Financial Controller Salary: €80,000 plus benefits Location: - Cavan Hybrid working- 3 days in the office (The first 3 months will be office based) Job Ref:S011546 Description of Role: Our client is now seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be Financial Controller of the Irish and UK entities. Requirements: Qualified accountant or related qualification. Needs to have 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of FRS102 and US GAAP. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (Preferably SAP). Previous experience using Power BI and/ or other Data Visualization packages Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Experience working in the FMCG or manufacturing sector. Advanced MS Office and MS Excel required. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Financial Reporting to the executive team- finalise monthly accounts and commentary in conjunction with staff reporting Overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions via direct reports- accounts receivable, accounts payable, stock, working capital, capital expenditure etc. Analyse financial data- Produce relevant KPIS. Forecasting and budgeting Capital Expenditure- review requests and returns on investment analysis along with monitoring spend Monitoring production Risk management- from credit checks to evaluating new projects Coordinate audits Ensure all processes are carried out in conjunction to compliance procedures. Work with department to ensure any potential cost saving ideas are put in place Support the company in any ADHOC duties that may arise from time to time.
