An experienced Financial Controller is required by CareerWise Recruitment on behalf of our esteemed East Cork based client currently going through an ERP implementation. The successful financial controller will report directly to the VP of Finance. Please see below some of the responsibilities and some requirements in order to be successful in this process. THE ROLE: * Evaluate and implement effective Financial Systems and Internal Controls. * Lead and manage a performance culture and deliverables in the finance function * Contribute to the companys business planning and monitor through on-going reporting, analysis and discussion of relevant information * Ensure that the company operates within the law and complies fully with corporate and employment legislation * Manage all regulatory compliance * Ensure the team has the tools, applications, infrastructure and support to do their work effectively * Annual budgeting & quarterly forecasting across all profit & cost centres including cash flows * Annual preparation of financial statements * CAPEX projects Approval, monitoring & controlling REQUIREMENTS: * Qualified accountant ACCA, ACA, FCCA, CIMA * Minimum 5 years experience of reporting at a senior finance level i.e. senior accounting or existing FC * ERP Implementation experience is an advantage * Strong knowledge of and experience in contracting, negotiating, and change management * Demonstrates abilities in capital, inventory and cash control, systems and process development and forecasting * Experience working with multi-national financial obligations * Good interpersonal skills Please call Conor Kingston today for further information on or email: CareerWise Recruitment (In Search of Excellence) Established in 1999, CareerWise Recruitment specializes in recruitment of management and technical professionals for the life sciences, ICT, engineering, food and Agri sectors.
