Financial Controller - Leading Automotive DealershipLocation: Roscommon, IrelandSalary: 40k - 50k (DOE)Are you ready to drive your career forward as a Financial Controller with a leading automotive dealership in Ireland? Our client, a well-established company in the automotive sector, is seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to join their dynamic team in Roscommon.Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, the Financial Controller will lead the finance department and play a pivotal role in the dealership's management team. You will contribute to achieving the company's strategic goals, sales targets, and overall growth, while ensuring financial excellence and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the finance department.Produce monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and periodic forecasts.Monitor, analyze, and report on company-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Represent the finance department in management meetings and strategic discussions.Manage monthly payroll and ensure all statutory payments and reports are submitted on time.Ensure compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.Manage banking relationships and maintain optimal levels of working capital.Ensure a smooth and efficient annual audit process.Manage and motivate finance team members and ensure adherence to internal controls.Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Dealer Principal.Qualifications and Skills Required:Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).At least 5 years of post-qualification experience.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.Commercial focus and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in MS Excel and financial IT systems.Effective communication skills and a proactive approach.If you are a results-driven finance professional ready to make an impact, we would love to hear from you.
