Our clients grow with us - besides accounting and payroll, we provide financial planning and investment management services.What you will doWe are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal and external audits, and tax filing. As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations for our start-up company.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the accounting operations for a group of companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting;Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation and review of financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements;Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation;Oversee VAT reporting and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of VAT returns;Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections;Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate matching of transactions and resolving discrepancies;Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions;Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries;Liaise with third-party service providers, such as banks and financial institutions, to manage company accounts and financial transactions;Provide financial insights and recommendations to management, supporting strategic decision-making.You haveBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably with exposure to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, audits, and tax filing;Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial controls in the UK and Irish market;Familiarity with accounting practices and regulations in the German market would be a plus;Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software;Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills;Professional qualifications such as CAI (Chartered Accountant Ireland), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) are highly desirable;Experience with IFRS and FRS 102 is mandatory;Experience in a group of companies with multi-entities;Fluency in English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
