Financial ControllerMy client is an iconic Irish company based in North Dublin.The Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function including managing the month end process, managing and developing the finance team, providing commercial insights to the CFO and preparing business plans.Main dutiesCompletion of timely and accurate monthly management accounts Produce the monthly Board Reports with detailed commentary & analysis Provide monthly analysis of key variances and consider any impact from those variances on future profitability, working with the team to actively manage & minimise negative variancesLead, mentor & develop the finance teamEnsure well managed and focused credit control and accounts payable functionsMonitor and manage cash flow and working capital investmentMonitoring internal control processes to ensure adherence with group policy and directives Manage all activities to ensure achievement of operational & financial targets.Assist with preparation of ad hoc business plans, proposals, tenders and reports as requiredComplete profitability & pricing analysis by product & customer The personQualified Accountant with 4-5 years’ PQE Advanced Excel skills with proven analytical abilityExperience managing a team in dynamic environmentExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work well as part of a team working towards common goals.Salary: c. €90k plus benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
