I am currently recruiting for a global telecommunications company based in Dublin, who are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis and handle the accounting, financial, taxation and compliance aspects of the company's business. Working closely with the CFO and sales, professional services, product management and senior management teams in analyzing financial and operational performance and advising on the findings.On a day to day basis, you will be:Supporting the CFO/CEO in the provision of commercial recommendations to the management teamInput into tactical and strategic business, operational and financial planningPresenting Board Reports and monthly/ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholdersSupporting the CFO in preparation of annual budgets and forecastingImplementing robust financial controls and reporting systemsManaging Monthly management accounts and monthly variance analysis & operational KPIsManaging prudent revenue recognition policies & revenue assurance reporting supporting Sales teamPreparing statutory accounts and liaising with auditors on audit & corporate taxationThey are looking for a candidate with the following experience:Highly motivated qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)A high degree of commercial awareness with excellent analytical, technical and IT skillsExperience in the services/software/technology industry is highly desirable and a bias towards telecom industry experience is preferableExcellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and excellent presentation skillsStrong problem-solving skills with pragmatic approach and time management skillsStrong accounts preparation & business analysis experience requiredStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-taskAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of the implementation of Accounting & ERP packages and finance systems developmentPrevious experience in a high growth or multinational company would be an advantageAdvanced MS Excel knowledge / modelling skills are essential #J-18808-Ljbffr
