Company: Hotel, RoscommonOur client is a long established and high profile hotel business based in Roscommon. Their leadership team have ambitious plans to increase their market share, revenue, and profitability. At this point in time they are seeking to hire an experienced Financial Controller to manage and develop the Finance function for the organisation. The candidate will have a close working relationship with the Directors and department heads and will be expected to provide them with key commercial advice and support.Position: Financial ControllerReporting to the Managing Director, the role will involve:Preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts including KPI reportsDaily “flash reports” on revenue and inbound ordersDepartmental margin analysisLabour cost reporting and payroll supervisionPreparation of year end accounts and liaising with company auditorsResponsibility for completion of annual budgets, cashflows, and forecastsCapital expenditure monitoring and controlManagement of accounts staff and overseeing all aspects of the Finance function, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and AP/AR functionsSystems development – will manage in-house systems with a view to improving reports and efficienciesDevelopment and implementation of internal controls and systemsWorking with the Marketing team to improve returns and control costsManaging Treasury and relationships with financial institutionsCandidate ProfileThe role will suit a candidate with at least two years' post qualification experience within a quality well-run business. Will suit a pro-active candidate who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a growing entrepreneurial SME business. The candidate should be a Qualified Accountant, with excellent IT and inter-personal skills with a pro-active “can do” attitude. #J-18808-Ljbffr
