Morgan McKinley is partnering with a successful Financial Services firm in Dublin South to find a Financial Controller for their high-performing team. This role requires strong commercial acumen and a proven track record in people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate management reporting packs with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and evolution.
- Ensure effective management of the finance team.
- Streamline and improve all operations and accounting systems.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Lead the team in preparing timely and accurate financial statements.
- Oversee the audit process.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Strategic analysis and feasibility studies of new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the Head of Finance in presenting reports to board members and senior management team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified accountant with proven Financial Controller experience.
- Track record and ability to lead and manage people.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
