Morgan McKinley is partnering with a successful Financial Services firm in Dublin South to hire a Financial Controller for their high-performing team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this dynamic role requires strong commercial acumen and a proven track record in people management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and consolidate management reporting packs with a focus on continuous improvement, automation, and evolution.
• Ensure effective management of the finance team.
• Streamline and improve all operations and accounting systems.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Lead the team in preparing timely and accurate financial statements.
• Oversee the audit process.
• Budgeting & Forecasting.
• Strategic analysis and feasibility studies of new business opportunities.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance in presenting reports to board members and senior management team.

Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified accountant with proven Financial Controller experience.
• Track record and ability to lead and manage people.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Experience with SAP is desirable.
