The role will report to the CFO and will provide significant C-level/board exposure, with huge opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management pack, ensuring integrity of numbers and providing insightful reporting with an operational focus.
- Ownership of gross profit reporting and variance analysis, working with relevant managers to maximise company earnings.
- Development of operational KPIs with functional heads of departments to monitor team performance and contribute to business growth.
- Leadership of an established finance team, ensuring continuous improvement across finance processes and procedures.
- Ownership of group audit and financial and regulatory reporting.
- Contribution to strategic projects of the group.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant with 10+ years post-qualified experience (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a busy medium to large team, with demonstrable experience of developing a high-performing team.
- Experience in the energy sector is a distinct advantage.
- Inquisitive mind with ability to understand and solve complex business problems.
- Track record of process improvement.
- Comfortable presenting in front of executive management level.
