Financial Controller My client is an iconic Irish company based in North Dublin. The Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function including managing the month end process, managing and developing the finance team, providing commercial insights to the CFO and preparing business plans. Main duties Completion of timely and accurate monthly management accounts Produce the monthly Board Reports with detailed commentary & analysis Provide monthly analysis of key variances and consider any impact from those variances on future profitability, working with the team to actively manage & minimise negative variances Lead, mentor & develop the finance team Ensure well managed and focused credit control and accounts payable functions Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital investment Monitoring internal control processes to ensure adherence with group policy and directives Manage all activities to ensure achievement of operational & financial targets. Assist with preparation of ad hoc business plans, proposals, tenders and reports as required Complete profitability & pricing analysis by product & customer The person Qualified Accountant with 4-5 years PQE Advanced Excel skills with proven analytical ability Experience managing a team in dynamic environment Excellent organizational skills Ability to work well as part of a team working towards common goals.
