Hotel Financial Controller - Dublin City Centre Our client is a dynamic hotel Group who currently requires an experienced Hotel Financial Controller or Assistant Financial Controller/Hotel Accountant looking to progress. Looking after 2 of their boutique properties in Dublin City Centre. You'll play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic planning of two prestigious hotel properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organization and further your career in the hospitality industry. Youll collaborate closely with General Managers and hotel management teams, using your business acumen to influence key decisions and drive the financial success of our properties. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive presentations to the executive team, detailing current and projected business performance, identifying future opportunities, and addressing potential challenges. As a vital part of the senior management team, and in partnership with the General Manager, you will significantly contribute to the creation and review of the annual business plan. Generate monthly and annual financial reports, analysing results, identifying trends, and forecasting financial outcomes. Actively participate in overall property management, with a focus on cost management and financial efficiency. Safeguard the hotel's assets by maintaining robust internal control systems. Lead and develop the finance team, enhancing their skills and competencies across all financial functions. Assist in elevating financial awareness among management, promoting informed decision-making. Drive departmental managers to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the overall success of the hotel. Utilize advanced technology to analyse real-time data, transforming insights into actionable business strategies. Support the ESG committee in achieving sustainability objectives. Requirements Experience Hotel Financial Controller, Hotel Accountant or Assistant Financial Controller Extensive Hotel industry experience. Strong commercial and operational experience Good understanding of budgets, forecasts, KPI's and internal controls. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong business partnering skills Exceptional analytical abilities. Proven management and leadership skills. A strong work ethic and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
