Job Summary: Experienced Financial Controller required to manage financial results, lead the Accounting team, and drive process improvements in a successful software company with a global presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial results and oversee preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Lead the Accounting team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Provide financial advice, support, and updates to Divisional Heads and Regional Directors.
- Ensure internal financial controls and implement effective procedures to support key targets.
- Prepare financial accounts, Revenue requirements, and payroll within set timelines.
- Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives and drive changes in the Accounting area.
- Co-ordinate Board reports, provide financial insights, and update key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with 5+ years of experience.
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly at all levels.
- Proven ability to adapt to new systems and review processes for improvement.
- Excellent understanding of current accounting standards and practice.
- Experience with Sage is essential.
