Are you an experienced Financial Accountant looking to join a long standing and growing business as a Financial Controller? Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with our dynamic client in search of a Finance professional in this permanent, onsite role in Limerick. This is a varied and exciting role with responsibility for the day-to-day financial activities, managing a small finance team and offers you the opportunity to join a company as a senior member of the business leadership team.ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.Direct daily cash management activities, maintain strong banking relationships, and optimize treasury functions to safeguard the company's financial position.Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including comprehensive variance analysis, to keep management informed of the company's financial performance.Lead the development and ongoing management of budgets and forecasts, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives and updating cash flow projections as needed.Oversee tax compliance processes, working closely with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax and statutory obligations.Serve as a key financial advisor to senior leadership, providing insights that inform decision-making and support strategic planning.Liaise with external auditors and advisors to meet all financial reporting requirements and ensure successful completion of audits.Manage weekly payroll processes and oversee HR-related tasks, including recruitment, contract administration, and employee relations.Collaborate with IT service providers to maintain and enhance financial systems, ensuring they support the company's operations effectively.Identify and implement system and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and strengthen financial controls.Lead and contribute to various special projects, supporting the company's long-term goals and strategic initiatives.Requirements5+ years Post Qualified accountant with strong commercial and business acumen.Proactive, analytical, and professional individual with strong communication and organizational skills.Strong financial management and management accounting skills.Good leadership skills with team management experience are desirable.Strong understanding of IT systems and software is advantageous.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
