KerryPosition: Full Time, PermanentSalary: ¬ 65k +On behalf of our clients, who are based in Killarney, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller. Our clients provide lending and credit services to customers nationwide. The Financial Controller plays a key role in the management and oversight of the company's financial operations.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Full responsibility for the group companies budget and financial reporting.Oversee/manage the debt-capital funding lines.Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and optimise financial performance.Coordinate and manage external audits, liaise with auditors, and address audit findings.Preparation of internal management accounts, loan portfolio reports and board updates.Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and financial reporting.Lead the assessment of business development opportunities within the firm.Liaise as required with key stakeholders both internally and externally.Assist senior management in developing financial plans and strategies to achieve organisational goals and objectives.RequirementsCandidates must be a qualified accountant with 6 years relevant post qualification experience.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.Ability to produce insightful reports and disseminate key information to support decision making.Track record in delivering to deadlines and driving continuous improvement while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving skills.Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.Experience using various systems, Excel, and other applications.Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience.
