**Financial Controller for Innovative Startup** Seeking a dynamic and experienced finance professional to lead financial operations and drive strategic decision-making in a fast-growing startup on the Limerick-Tipperary border. **Key Responsibilities:** • Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. • Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial decision-making, business strategy, and operational improvements. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. • Lead and manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Partner with senior management to guide business strategy, including financial planning, risk management, and performance optimization. • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to support ongoing operations and growth. • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax filings and financial audits. **Requirements:** • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) • Strong commercial acumen • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a small finance team • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills **What We Offer:** • Competitive salary package • Pension scheme • Private healthcare • Annual performance bonus • On-site parking • Flexible hybrid working model (combination of remote and office-based work) • Opportunity to grow and develop within an entrepreneurial and innovative environment
