Dublin 1, Ireland | Posted on 10/10/2024 Construction, Time Lapse and Project Management Cameras Job Description About the Role: Evercam is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our international team and play a pivotal role in shaping the accounting and financial strategy of our company. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing key accounting matters, including monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, and managing our international accounting teams. You’ll have the opportunity to not only refine existing processes but also help shape the financial future of a dynamic, evolving global business. Key Responsibilities:Management Accounts: Lead the delivery of monthly management accounts, managing key stakeholders and gaining Senior Leadership sign-off.Team Leadership: Grow and manage our international accounts team, leading them to deliver day-to-day financial tasks and the overall Finance Roadmap.Budget Process: Work with CFO and leadership team to build the overall individual business unit budgets, establish reporting processes, and perform periodic re-forecasts.Regulatory Filings: Take the lead on regulatory filings for our subsidiaries.Core Finance Processes: Manage revenue management and reconciliation, cash flow, treasury, and FX management.Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve financial processes and procedures, documenting these as appropriate.Technology Stack: Play an active role in leading the integration of new accounting software to our stack as our function evolves.Annual Accounting Processes: Manage the year-end accounts process and statutory account drafting.External Relationships: Maintain the relationship with banks, tax advisors, payroll advisory, Auditors and all other relevant external providers.Customer Data Excellence: Understand and report on data trends, maintaining accurate data on all systems.Personal Development: Engage in personal development and training to enhance role effectiveness and deliver team training when required.Requirements:Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent).Additional qualifications (CTA, etc.) considered a bonus.3+ years of PQE.Genuine interest in data and its role in storytelling, and driving business outcomes.Experience of integration across different business processes, software, and databases.Experience in construction or technology companies would be desirable but not essential.Evercam is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
