The Financial Controller will be a motivated individual with expertise in technical and management accounting. This position will be an entrusted cross-functional business partner supporting the CFO with all finance-related activities.What You’ll DoIndividuals in this role would be responsible for a variety of activities including:Manage and oversee the accounting operations for group companies.Ownership of the month-end close process and preparation of monthly financial reports.Oversee tax compliance for all group companies.Maintain and manage the general ledger ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.Liaise with third-party service providers such as banks and other financial institutions for the completion of financial transactions.Development and implementation of scalable accounting processes.Management of Accounts Payable and related payments.Oversee all cash and crypto reconciliations.Ensuring financial and related policies are followed at all times.Involvement in various finance-related projects.Proactively manage tasks to ensure they are completed efficiently.Take ownership and management of processes.What You’ll BringRequired:Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA.Minimum of 5 years experience working in a finance function.Experience in a multinational environment highly desirable.Experienced people manager.Transfer pricing knowledge a plus.Crypto/Blockchain knowledge is desirable.Knowledge of Irish and Swiss reporting requirements a plus.A solid understanding of current and proposed accounting and tax legislation.Dynamic problem-solving skills.Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel.Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.Strong attention to detail essential.Excellent communication and organizational skills – fluent English skills are essential.Passion for blockchain, web3, and sustainability.Strong relationship management skills.Comfortable working in a virtual environment.Willingness to travel if required.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionAccounting/Auditing, Business Development, and FinanceIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
