Role Overview: Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join their senior management team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to strategic decision-making and ensure that robust financial processes are in place to support their ambitious growth plans. You will oversee all financial operations, manage the finance team, and provide insightful financial analysis to drive the company's continued expansion. Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis:Prepare comprehensive financial reports and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Conduct in-depth income and expenditure analysis, offering actionable insights to the leadership team.Manage cash flows and budget forecasts, aligning financial planning with business strategy.Financial Operations:Oversee year-end audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion.Manage bank accounts, process invoices, and ensure effective expenditure control.Supervise the preparation and submission of statutory returns, including CT1s, VAT, B1 annual returns, and RCT.Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.Leadership & Team Management:Lead and manage the Accounts team, including Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and part-time Accounts administrators, ensuring consistent performance and development.Participate actively in monthly board meetings, strategy sessions, and key decision-making processes.Process Improvement & Project Management:Drive initiatives to improve and develop financial reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.Implement financial controls and processes to support the company's growth and internationalisation efforts.Requirements:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.Proven experience in a high-level financial role, ideally within a start-up or a company experiencing significant growth.Strong experience in dealing directly with Revenue and Banks.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.High level of motivation, with exceptional multitasking, prioritisation, and ownership skills.Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; knowledge of Microsoft Navision and Irish Tax Laws is an advantage.A proactive, enthusiastic, and ambitious self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team.What They Offer:An exciting and challenging role within a growing company.The opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial direction of the business.A competitive salary and benefits package.A supportive and collaborative working environment.If you would like discuss this great opportunity, reach out for a confidential chat. #J-18808-Ljbffr
