Job Description

Experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller sought for influential role with industry leader in Kerry, driving process improvement and overseeing corporate accounting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Develop activity-based standard costing and review costings for cost-effective processes.
  • Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and banking.
  • Prepare statutory accounts with supporting schedules for external audit.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Prepare VAT and payroll tax returns, and other statistical returns as required.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies for internal controls.
  • Develop the finance team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with 7+ years experience and Financial Controller exposure.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and adapt to change.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • People management experience.
  • Retail knowledge or experience advantageous.
