This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager/Financial Controller to work in an influential role with an industry leader based in Kerry. - Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Develop activity-based standard costing and review costings to ensure the most cost-effective processes are in place.
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and banking.
- Prepare statutory accounts with full supporting schedules in preparation for external audit.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Prepare Revenue returns for VAT and payroll tax and other statistical returns as required.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Develop the finance team.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with 7+ years experience and Financial Controller exposure.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and embrace change.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- People management experience.
- Retail knowledge or experience would be advantageous.
