Experienced Finance Manager/Financial Controller sought for influential role with industry leader in Kerry, driving process improvement and overseeing corporate accounting and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct budget and financial forecasts preparation and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Develop activity-based standard costing and review costings for cost-effective processes.
- Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and banking.
- Prepare statutory accounts with supporting schedules for external audit.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Prepare VAT and payroll tax returns and other statistical reports.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies for internal controls.
- Develop the finance team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with 7+ years experience and Financial Controller exposure.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and adapt to change.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
- People management experience.
- Retail knowledge or experience advantageous.
