We are presently recruiting for a Financial Controller for our clients, an established retail company in County Kerry. You will be focal point for all aspects of Finance, prepare monthly reports and work closely with company directors to ensure strong financial operations for the award winning retail business. This is a full - time permanent position based in County Kerry. Responsibilities within the post: Oversee financial operations for a retail business with multi - million annual turnover. Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements. Manage the preparation and submission of statutory accounts and tax returns. Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Develop and implement financial controls and processes to mitigate risks. Collaborate with senior management to provide strategic financial advice. Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development. Ensure optimal working capital management, including accounts payable, receivable, and stock control. Use financial systems and software to streamline processes and reporting. Manage cash flow and liquidity to support the organization's financial health. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff. Continuously assess and improve financial processes and systems. Contribute to the development and execution of the company's financial strategy. Oversee the Companys IT operations Skills and experience: Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years industry experience. Strong experience of managing a Finance team. Strong commercial and operational expertise. Interest in IT, Software and for continuous improvement of processes. Salary is open to negotiation and based in experience and in the region of €80 / €90,000 with pension and Medical.
