Financial Controller – Manufacturing – Dublin City CentreThe CompanyOur client is a long-established, Irish owned business in the manufacturing sector. They are in the process of restructuring their Finance Team and are seeking to appoint an ambitious Financial Controller to join the Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity offering a real potential to progress to Finance Director level in line with projected growth in the business.The Position:This role will be varied and is a mix of commercial and operational duties. The role will report to senior stakeholders in the business and work with the operations team on costing. Some of the duties will include:Lead and develop finance teamDeliver financial reporting to Board as requiredBudgeting, forecasting and cashflowOversight of all costing activityReviewing costs against budgetStatutory filingsManage Year End process and liaise with Group AuditorsOversight of IT functionPreparation and evaluation of proposals to develop the businessThe person:The role is high volume and fast-paced and the successful candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:Qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing an advantageDemonstrated ability to lead a teamGood technical financial accounting skillsGood analytical and problem-solving ability.The ability to work within tight deadlines, pay close attention to detail and ensure quality in output.A well-motivated team player with a strong ability to work on own initiative.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Working knowledge of financial systemsInterested in this role?To apply for this position please contact Suzanne Fowler at 01 6797990 or forward your CV to industry@accountancysolutions.ie #J-18808-Ljbffr
