Job Description

The Company Our client are undergoing a massive transformation across their business. They are seeking to appoint an experienced FC to lead the Finance team and form part of the overall Management team. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will have full responsibility for the finances of the Irish Operation whilst reporting back to their group finance function. The Position: The role will take responsibility for the day to day operations of the Finance team and drive a commercial approach in terms of the finance agenda and prepare information packs. Duties will include: Monthly accounts preparation and ownership of month end close Lead and develop small Finance team Form part of leadership team contributing to overall running of the business Financial and commercial analysis analysis Tender preparation and presentation Audit preparation and management Budgeting and forecasting Cashflow Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls System upgrade Project work Hybrid- with an office based in Wicklow this role offers a hybrid working model of 50/50 The Person: Qualified Accountant with similar experience Team management experience Commercial orientation Strong work ethic Ability to work in fast paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills/ability to prioritize work Good interpersonal skills Process orientated Ability to work in team environment Can do attitude Interested in this position?
