Financial Controller sought for Irish-owned business undergoing transformation, leading finance function and reporting to senior stakeholders.
The role will involve leading a small finance team, delivering financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing costing activity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the finance team
- Delivering financial reporting to the Board
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversight of all costing activity
- Reviewing costs against budget
- Statutory filings and Year End process management
- Supporting group-wide system implementation from a finance perspective
- Preparation and evaluation of proposals to develop the business
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Qualified accountant with relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Good technical financial accounting skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and pay close attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of financial systems
